Thanks for the sunglasses site Doreen, had a quick look, will order them later. Melly, I didn't know there was a Sjogren's clinic either, thought it all came under the rheumatology clinic. Will be glad when appt comes through and can get it sorted. Thanks everyone for the kind messages and support, means alot x xSmile

Gosh Barbara, I don't come on the forum for two days and then when I do you've changed illnesses!!!! LOL

Poor love, but thank God you know now what you have. I never ever knew that Sjorgen's ca produce the joint inflammation although my lovely 'aunt' in America has fibro and Sjorgen's and so I had presumed the joint pain/swelling was from the fibro...

She uses a humidifier and good sun glasses.

I will e/mail you later too...

Much love to you and a big glass of sangria, necessary for medicinal purposes of course!

Amanda

Actually, lots of Rheumatology Departments cover ALL auto-immune diseases from RA to Sjoergren's. Ours certainly does. They have clinics for the different specialities on alternative days.

Hi melly, not so good again today, maybe I overdid it yesterday, but lots of pain and swelling again today. Did go to decathlon with Georgia and bought her a sleeping bag and a torch for her overnight camping trip. Rested today, watched dvd The Island, its a sci-fi, so my favourite type of film lol!! Went next door to see little Ruby May and her grandma my friend Anne, but thats the excitement of my day. Hope you are doing better yourself, know you had lots of problems since the weather was so hot, much cooler today, feels lovely!!!Smile

Hi Barb

Your consultant sounds lovely! I hope you can get a firm diagnosis soon, it seems that these illnesses chop and change. I'm trying to come off steroids, am nearly down to 2mg, but I can just imagine finally getting off them and something going wrong and having to start taking them again!

I hope you're having a better day in the cooler weather.

Lyn
